Charted Needlepoint
Your instructor will assist you in selecting an appropriate project, canvas and fibers for your first piece. Learn how to read patterns, center your design on the canvas, work with several different fibers, and begin and end each color.
Embroidery
Learn different methods for transferring your design to a tea towel or other piece of fabric. Review and select fibers for your project. Satin stitch, stem stitch, back stitch, lazy daisy and French knots are all covered in this class.
Lacing and Finishing
In this class we will cover how to lace your finished project and complete a finished box, round ornament or a flat fold-stand up. You will need to bring a completed cross stitch or needlepoint project to class.
Hardanger
This is a 2 part class, $20 each session. Learn klosters, cutting, weaving and the cable stitch. By the end of 2 sessions you will have created a lovely piece that can be a Christmas ornament or scissor fob.

Do you have a painted canvas and need help selecting a stitch or fiber? Need help with a particular stitch? Bring your canvas and let our instructor help you in a private lesson. Each class is $20 per session.

Come learn a new technique, improve your skill level, or ask for help with a challenging piece! Enjoy a one-on-one learning experience or sign up with a friend. Classes are private 1 hour sessions scheduled to meet your needs. Each class is $20 per session + cost of materials. If you bring a friend, class fee is $15 more per session and the length will be extended by 30 minutes. Remember to bring scissors to all sessions. Please ask us if you’re interested in other techniques not listed below!
