Embroidery Floss
DMC stranded embroidery cotton is the
world¹s most well
known embroidery
thread. it is regarded as the finest 100% long fiber cotton,
mercerized for
a high luster, silky finish. The floss is made up of 8.7 yards
of 6 easily
divisible strands with 447 colors, which is washable and fade
resistant.
Pearl Cotton
Ideal for a variety of different stitchery
techniques, such as cross-stitch,
needlepoint, hardanger and huck or swedish weaving. Also, an
excellent
fiber for blanket stitching appliqués or around the
edge of quilts . Finest
100% long fiber cotton. During the manufacturing process, the
thread is
combed, singed by flame and the double mercerized. It is this
double
mercerizing which gives it its beautiful pearlised sheen. The
thread is
soft, silky, does not fluff or kink and consist of 2 twisted
inseparable
stands, which comes in 4 sizes, 3, 5, 8 & 12. The size
numbers refer to
the meters per gram e.g. #3 = 3 meters per gram While #5 =
5 meters per
gram.

Rayon Floss
DMC Rayon Floss is a highly lustrous rayon thread resulting
in the most
beautiful silk-like finish wonderful for embroidery and cross
stitch. The
thread is made up of 6 strands of divisible thread and the
6 stand, 8.7 yard
skeins come in 100 beautiful colors. The first time I used
this fiber was
to recreate my mothers satin bridal gown in a cross stitch
reproduction of a
picture of my parents wedding.
Metallic Embroidery Thread
6 divisible strands which is easily separated for excellent
coverage. 11
colors can be used for cross stitch and embroidery.
