A note from Sue - Hello to all of the faithful "Fuzzy Penguin" customers who have either come up the hill or called for mail order. We all will miss Fuzzy. Carla and I have grown to be very special friends as well as co-shop owners, we will continue to be friends. On a professional note, this leaves a gap for all of us. In the past I was able to keep our shop stocked with selected items and rely on Fuzzy to fill the gaps. It will take Kelsey's some time to be able to stock the same level of inventory as Fuzzy. Remember, the volume of inventory at Fuzzy's did not happen over night!!!! We are asking for your patience and to give us an opportunity to fill orders for you. We may not be able to obtain inventory in a week or two, it may take a month or two. With your continued support and as time goes on we will be able to expand our inventory and provide more and more inventory. Thank you to all our customers for being patient.

Well winter is over, summer is here. What happened to spring? With the thermometer raising as fast as gas prices, it is time to make some cool lemonade or ice tea, and sit and stitch. This is a wonderful way to relax and it is never to early to start your holiday stitching.

Downtown Placerville - If it has been a while since you have been to Historic Downtown Placerville, it is time for a wonderful experience. There are dozens of terrific shops (not just antiques), numerous delicious restaurants, and plenty of FREE parking. For our local customers, parking is not an issue, we always have empty spaces in front of the shop between noon and 5:00pm. On weekends you can park behind the old "City Hall" in the reserved spaces. Did you know that if you park in the parking garage and walk to our shop, you are walking less distance than if you parked in WalMart's front parking spaces and walk to the back of that store. There is always parking in the garage. To see what is happening on Main Street look at the following web page www.placerville-downtown.org

Happy Stitching !
